So many things I wanna read but am wary of starting because I've been burned on abandoned WIPs (and yeah, I'm fully aware of how many works in progress I have ongoing...)

I know exactly what you're saying. I won't read WIPs unless I "personally" Know the author.

Lol - I so get you - and then I turned into one myself. I'm sitting on a fic that refuses to get finished. I know why though, so I have still hope to get to it :).

I'm *so* guilty of this myself. My 'works in progress' folder scares me every day...

But I always have a /? on unfinished fic :-)

I really don't have that usually. I write one fic, have an ideas folder, but don't write them before the other one is finished. So far I've only written multichapter fic and basically posted when everything was written and only had to be edited. This time, the editing ended in half a re-write...and now I just don't find the time to finish it. And I hate that.
