I count myself incredibly lucky to 'know' every single one of you. Whether we've met in person or not, I count you all as friends. Whether we comment on each others journals or not, I count you all as friends. I celebrate with you, I mourn with you, I fret with you, I get angry with you, I rail against injustices with you, I learn with you.

I am so privileged to count [livejournal.com profile] liz_marcs as a friend. She is a fantastic writer, she is an amazing moderator at INAP, she is a wonderful supporter of forgotten or overlooked causes, she is not afraid of expressing her opinions and standing behind them, she is not afraid of debating those opinions and embracing the debate.

She humbles me.

If you have not read any of her political type posts in the past, you should. Whether you agree with her stance or not, she shows a seasoned reporter's instinct for presenting the facts in a way that can make even the most jaded amongst us think twice.

When the Revolution Comes, It Will Be Blogged is a post that everyone should read. This is what the internet is all about. Not auctions and porn, it's about people connecting with people across the world. And learning from each other.
