I'm back.

Kinda.

I'm working on getting internet access at home again, but right now I'm back in the library for the interim, which means limited time five days a week. (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat).

As you may know I've not been online for any length of time since mid-December and for about a month before that I was already behind in catching up. So... since I don't even think LJ will let me skip back that many entries on my flist, I am going to have to draw a line and say I'm starting again from now. (Tuesday 16, 2.30pm GMT)

If there's anything at all I should know or you'd like me to see (including fics I've been following, vids, new pictures, art) then please either link me here or message me?

Also, I have free access to Twitter on my phone until the end of next month and have been pretty much living on my Twitter page for the last month - here it is incase you didn't already know it. Messages there from people I already follow will be up instantly, if you add me it'll take a while until I get access to the notification but if I know you I'll add you asap.

I've not been online much at all since the weekend, and not for the reasons I wanted that to be. I haven't moved yet, there's nothing wrong with the flat (apart from Scottish Gas taking a stupid amount of time to activate my account there and the central heating being gas fired...). There's something wrong with me. I've been (as I put it rather crudely in a text earlier today) unable to get too far from a bucket or a bathroom in the last five days. The kids (whom I really have to come up with some kind of naming function for now that they all have distinct personalities... hmmm. I'll think on that some) all had/have it, sis had it, BiL had it. I can't get rid of it.

(and just FYI sis, when your kid sister calls you sounding really low and asks for advice, telling her to 'suck it up and fight through it' isn't exactly what she needed to hear. I was kinda hoping for some sympathy, not a drill sergeant...)

I'm about to venture into my flist, but I can tell you already I'm over a week behind and have limited time here (57 steps from the single public bathroom in the library - hope it's close enough if it comes to it!) If there's something - no matter how important or insignificant - you want me to see, please let me know or link me?

Ooh! Also! smileawhile?! I *never* check my hotmail, I don't know what prompted me to do it, and I don't know if you'll see this but SQUEE!!!!! Honey! I am so happy for you!

(and finally another little moan from me, yet another part of my computer has decided it's too old to work properly. My CD/DVD drive is packing up. And of course the three files that refuse to open/transfer/copy from the latest disk are SPN episodes... I'm going to try to get them onto my pendrive at sis's house (the library computer doesn't even recognise there's a disk in when I try it here) so I can watch 'em. *grumble*)

By dint of having a broken hand, I've managed not to be roped into helping at my sister's Hallowe'en party this year - she's having it in the house and I did help her decorate it yesterday. It looks awesome. Me, I'm going to be doing nothing much. I'll do the ritual and then spend the rest of the time watching cheesy horror films I think - there's a Big Brother related horror film on Channel 4 tonight (or maybe it's E4, it's on that group of channels anyway) which I'll give a look and then no doubt hate (since I loathe reality TV) and go back to watching the old standards...

Is now off to replenish the stock of popcorn...

It's in my notepad (for some reason CR is one of the fics I write longhand first and then amend/expand it when typing it up) and will be on the pen drive tomorrow. I swear it.

Plus, I'm working on another fanmix. Well, when I say working on, it's actually complete in terms of track choices and order. I just need to do the artwork.

Which I refuse to do until I've finished a draft work for bellatemple.

And nemo_gravis, have saved it to the pen drive, will take a pass tonight and get back to you asap.

Right, so I have no phone line at home, no internet access at home and limited downloads in the library. (It doesn't like zip files or AVIs for some reason - I think it thinks there's something malicious buried inside the compression or something...) Plus, my sister's getting to the stage where she doesn't want me downloading anything any more (she got two viruses on her computer and went over her download limit last month).

So although new seasons of shows have started (mostly) I haven't seen anything yet. At all. And I'm a spoilerphobe which means I really don't want to know what's going on until I can see the shows myself.

All of that means that I haven't been looking at my flist even when I can get online because even if there's no talk of the episodes themselves, I know there will be icons and the like out there.

So... amnesty time. Each and every single one of you is important to me, but right now I feel disconnected from you because I don't really know what's going on in your lives. So here's your out - if you want to take this opportunity to take me off your flist then please, don't feel bad about it at all. I will not be in the least bit offended. If you want to follow my fandom stuff (icons, wallpapers, graphics etc) when I manage to get round to posting anything, then you can watch or join my comm fandomsbitca and it'll all be up there. Or keep an eye on my site which will be being updated really soon.
