There are people who come into one's life at exactly the right time. They bring with them the hand of friendship, a strong pair of shoulders and a sympathetic ear. They bring with them something pure and unadulterated and they are exactly what one needs at that moment.

People change and move onwards, but rarely is it in the same direction.

Entropy is a natural process. Change is constant. Ships pass in the night, circles move apart and rarely do they move in concert.

What was needed at the start has been provided and that need is no longer the same. Needs change, people change. If one is extremely lucky, the change, the entropy, leads to something deeper. Something more profound.

I have gone through some exceptionally tough times in my life. I am still going through them. I have grown; I have changed. I count myself incredibly lucky to have encountered the many, many friends who have supported me through my life. Each and every one of these special people is important to me and always will be. Each and every one of them came into my life at exactly the right moment. Each and every one of them has helped me grow, helped me change, and for that I will be eternally grateful. Even when the changes they have helped me make have led me away from the closeness we once shared.
