Right, so I've not been here for a while because we just had a holiday weekend during which my library was shut unexpectedly (to me anyway, there were probably signs up that I didn't read...). Sorry 'bout that!

Anyways, quick catch up: I haven't been doing well mental health wise but am bouncing back. I think.
I have decided that during May I am going to write every day (more about that in a minute).
I am working on a vid which originally I had wanted to finish by the middle of this month but now I want to take more time on to do it right.
I've just sent off my shortlist for the vids for round 15 over at the Art of Vidding Awards. Wow this was a tough round! There's not a bad vid among the entries there, go 'check 'em out.
I finally bought a desk and proper chair (they arrived this morning) so I will a lot more comfortable at the computer now which means I can actually get some work done!
Please link me to things I may have missed over the last week? I feel like such a bad friend for not keeping up with y'all.

Right. Back to the May writing project... So far I've managed a drabble a day and I have a larger plan that I'm working on (yesterday's drabble is kind of an intro to it) which will be started a little later on. But... I would love some prompts from you guys.

Fandoms: Buffy, Angel Supernatural, Firefly/Serenity, Dark Angel, maybe Leverage (want to write it, haven't quite found the voices yet). And any combination thereof.
I don't write Spuffy, Wincest, CSI (Crazy Space Incest (Simon/River)), and I'm not the world's biggest fan of Max/Logan. Anything else is fair game.

Please? Prompt me? I have 28 days left and actually have no idea what I'm going to write today even...

Still with the toothache...

Ouch.

(I'm not registered with an NHS dentist, none in the area are taking on new patients, and I can't afford to pay for dental treatment.)

Eating lunch earlier (an omlette for crying out loud...) the pain hit so bad I thumped the table and broke the plate. (Yeah, that may also explain why I keep buggering up my hand as well...) I honestly don't know how long I can put up with it.

Ow.

Anyways, I know I haven't posted anything about the London weekend two weeks ago (dude, TWO WEEKS!! How did that happen?!) it's because my poor old computer is getting old and cantakerous and is having 'issues' transferring pictures from my camera. *pets computer* It was an awesome time, not just because Steve, Rosalee and Darren were awesome as always, but because I got to spend time with friends in person - I didn't realise how much I'd missed that until I got home and realised that for a week the only people I spoke to were shop assistants and library staff. I will post about it and share pics soon - promise!

But never mind, the real reason for posting right now, and for posting with the icon which might seem a tad odd until this: I'm going to VAMPIRE BALL! Yay! (Or at least, I've just put an order in and am waiting for confirmation... *starts worrying*). It feels like forever since I was at a con as an attendee not staff! (Don't get me wrong - I LOVE working at cons, but at the last two Asylum's I saw a total of two panels.)

Plus? CHRIS!

I don't know if I'm going to be working at Asylum this year, I have emailed Wayne about it but apart from a question over Easter weekend I haven't heard back. I'm disappointed because I had a lot of fun working with the Rogue crew (I know some of you have issues with the way the cons are run, but they're good folks and really do try to make things as smooth as possible - plus, you have to admit it gets better every time) ad thought I did a good job for them but... there's still time, Wayne's a busy little really-quite-tall bee and there's still a month to go so...

Right, since I forgot to bring my pen drive with me to the library (sorry Cat, got your message about the landscape thing but don't have any relevant stock, it'll be Tuesday before I can get you a second draft) and the sun is splitting the trees out there, I'm going to go and try to avoid the funeral at the bowling green across from my house. :)

There were two artists for this fic and luckily for me sinful_teddy has posted her artwork as well! here it is - beautiful work honey!

Now all we're waiting for is the fic! And man I'm getting into this in such a big way! I'm so signing up for more Big Bangs - and maybe even as an author! (teh Jossverse Big Bang was accepting previously unfinished stories so long as they were completed and man I really want to finish What a Difference a Day Makes... and Crimson Regret... and Final Straw... and pretty much every other story I've ever started and not actually finished! (and hey - crossover-wise? the 'run from the darkness' playlist has been making reappearances on my mp3 player (or was, before Chris's E.P. came out!)

Also - so much love for hopeless_cynic who is focused on uni work right now but still took time out to tolerate me yesterday evening when it became clear my phone wasn't letting me connect to Twitter or to my emails or anything. I really, really, really need to get broadband sorted for the flat!!
