so I saw a doctor at student health, she had a good poke around at my neck and had to scrape me off the ceiling a few times when she hit really sore spots. It's nothing to worry about really, it's a muscle spasm apparently which should go away. She's given me exercises to do and painkillers to cope so hopefully that'll get it cleared up by Monday.
