Bloody hell.
Okay, time for the LJ cut thing because these are serious spoilers for Angel episode 20 based on the casting sides

Okay, so for some reason Spike and Angel head to Italy looking for the capo of some family - they end up with the head of the capo in quite a funny wordplay (Capo being Italian for head), but that's besides the point - they're in Italy, and those of us who've seen Damage (or read WaDaDM by yours truly!) know that Dawn is going to school in Rome and Buffy's there as well. So guess who they go looking for? Yup you guessed it. Turns out she's dating someone called "The Immortal" and at that point I got so annoyed I shut the document so I don't know what else happens after that but I'll maybe look at it later.

There's all sorts of stuff in the shooting script about making sure we only get glimpses of blonde hair in the distance so I guess Sarah has already refused to appear in it and I can't help but think that they are going to be doing their damndest to degrade Buffy in this episode. Not happy at the moment.

I'm not a happy bunny at the moment, I grew to actively hate the character of Buffy in season seven but there was a reason for that - she became a self-involved bitch because of the pressures she was under. The first job I was promoted to supervisor in, I went on such a power trip and made people hate me - I was 22, same age as Buffy was meant to be, so I actually relate to what they did to her chaacter and I appreciate the journey she took. Hell I've even now written two post-Chosen fics which are actually quite nice to her! So to have the Angel writers now turn round and diss her progression over the past seven years? I'm not a happy bunny.

Ah well, maybe tomorrow I'll read the rest of the thing and actually get some idea of where this thing's going.

Hmm... doesn't sound great - wait and see though, might not be as bad in the final product as from a few casting sides.

Apparently, SMG has suggested that she might actually do a gig on Angel if invited, and that the reason she didn't on a previous occasion was the death of her aunt. (Somewhere on Slayage .)

I just found the new Epidermis wallpaper. It's beautamous. Just thought I'd tell you that.

Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you what you used to make all your things like the wallpapers and the icons. Because I shouldn't be broke for much loner and I was thinking I might look into buying something to help me make those things.

Thanks! I think beautamous may become my favourtite word now! I use a combination of PhotoShop and Picture It. PhotoShop's great but it is pricey - I got a copy from a friend so it didn't cost too much.

There's a couple of good free image editors out there. Pixia (which for the life of me I can't remember the link for) and Gimp - the URL for that is this (http://www.gimp.orgh) - some people do say that Gimp is really PhotoShop for people who don't want to pay for PhotoShop so it might be worth a look.

I resized the Akasha icon for you btw! Sorry about the size thingy - my brain wasn't working properly.

Re: Off topic
Oh don't worry about it. I was worried that it was because of the weird shape that it wasn't the right sized. I'll go check those things out. I already have to buy norton anti-virus when I get some money, and I want to get Microsoft word too which I'm told is pretty pricey on it's own. Bye-Bye money. :(

Re: Off topic
Well I tried to download the Gimp one, but It made my brain hurt. SO I tracked down the pixia one. And downloaded it and tried it out, but it to made my brain hurt and made me feel like an idiot so it got deleted. Ah well, I'll get over my creative thing and survive without anything like those things. It should only last a few more weeks at the most. :) Thanks for the help though.

Re: Off topic
No problem at all. When I first got PhotoShop I opened it once, couldn't work out how to do anything at all and gave up on it for about two months. Then one day I stumbled across Jenni Lou's site "Daydreaming" - I can't remember the link offhand but I know I put it on the Obsessed Net Girl links page - and she has a whole bunch of tutorials there which aren't in the slightest bit patronising and now I usually find myself with Photoshop open every day.
