huh
Weird isn't it, how you don't notice someone's absence until they come back? The biatch boss wasn't at work yesterday and I never even noticed. She's been in the office for around five minutes so far today and already I'm fuming.

Okay, so I know I have a chip on my shoulder when it comes to her, I know I'm a little hyper-sensitive, but really? How can one person bring down the atmosphere so quickly?

Guess I should get back to work then and not think about how a song I heard on the way to work this morning is the perfect soundtrack for the next part of WaDaDM!

Now he's back to rekindle that old flame
he's got a different angle, baby
But he's playing the same old game

Baby, don't be the victim of a foolish heart
Don't let his lies get next to you
he's just trying to tear us apart
And he's trying to make me, to make me a victim too
Don't be a victim

Current Music: Don't be a victim (in my head, with different lyrics...)
Current Mood: pissed off

Sorry your boss is a terror!

I can relate though. There was this lady working with my mom who absolutely hated her, and she had control of the office, and she wasn't even the boss! When I started working there, the branch manager had just recently implemented a rule against family working there, but made an exception for me because she loved me :), and it drove the mean lady crazy. Se spent the first few weeks of my employment being bitchy in secret, and then later to my face.

We were all very happy when she quit a few weeks later, and actually stayed gone. (The big boss had always begged her to come back to work before)

That sounds awful! There are too many bosses in this office - today there are seven supervisors in with four people to supervise... Hmmm, that works! This isn't even that unusual to be honest - we've got two people off sick and a couple of part-timers who don't work Firdays but that's it!

Shocking isn't it? I'm not saying anything though because on paper it would probably be my position that was axed if it was brought up!

I'm finally showing back up to work today for the first time since I went on my trip. It's been over two months! I'm just a contracted slave though, and my mom is my boss, so it's ok, I just feel so bad because I"m such a slacker!

Don't feel bad about it - it sounds like you've got the kind of set-up I'd kill for!

Yeah, great setup, mind numbing job.
