grrr...
can't upload anything onto the new site because the "remote host" cannot be found. One day into this and I'm already having problems with the host. This sucks!

Yahoo thinks my email account is bouncing again and I've still not heard back from Freeserve from the last time I complained about it.

On top of that my wrist is really hurting me tonight and I'm so hungry it's beyond the joke.

This is not a good night!

It's so weird to see that it's night where you are. I'm still waiting for the morning paid programming to end on TV :)

Whatdid you do to your wrist to make it hurt?

It's not really night yet - 20 past six just now - I should probably have said it's *going* to be a bad night *grin*

I tore one of the ligaments in my right wrist about 5 years ago now and every now and then it gets really sore - I swear that sometimes I can *feel* the bones grinding together - and I end up having to take really strong painkillers which then get me worried that I'm depending on the painkillers so I stop taking them and my wrist gets worse again... pretty much ongoing really.

The doctor told me that if it gets unbearable they can operate and put a fake ligament in (apparently it's like a shoelace) but I'm *really* wary of operations, been around too many hospitals to go into one as a patient if I can help it!

Ow! How did you end up doing that?

I don't like operations either. I've only had one, but I'm not lining up to go back, because doctors lie.

I was putting shelves up and trying to put a screw into brick without drilling a hole first. That screw put up a damn good fight and I ended up twisting my wrist too far without my hand actually moving, ligament ripped, I was on the floor screaming. That was quite possibly the most painful thing ever...

My wrist hurts just thinking about that! I take it your probably not big on home repair now?

LOL! that's the thing, I still do all the stuff I used to - including putting up shelves! (I do tend to drill the hole first now though...(

Maybe I should get myself a Xander-type handyman! Know anywhere I can get one?

*grin*

Can't say as I do. If you find one and there are some extra ones around send one my way, I put stuff together without the proper tools. My tool box consists of a to small screwdriver, my hands, and a rolling pin. I'm not kidding at all. My brother steals all the tools in the house and loses them.

Tore all the ligaments in my left shoulder when I was 11 and I still have problems with it (I'm 29 now for thoses who don't know). Not in the pain kind of way, it just feels, I suppose, loose is the best way I describe it.

Yikes!

So what you're saying is... if I'm having problems now then I'm pretty much stuck with them forever?

Thanks for that!
