A lot. I slept in, I still feel rubbish, but I had a fun evening trading texts with [livejournal.com profile] fresleyforever last night debating whether it's too early to really squee about the Asylum convention yet. I feel really kinda wierd about that because I've got a convention before that which I am really quite stoked about and it's in two weeks, I think it's because even though the guests at Serenity 4 are all lovely drunkards people, I've met most of them before so the squee factor is much reduced.

I am now a Virgin broadband customer and it'll take until they can confrim my bank details before I'm online. They said three days, but that might be three working days so it'll be the middle of next week maybe, but still - a hell of a lot sooner than nearly the end of the month!

'nother site launch tonight. Graphics are done for it but not uploaded so I will have to wait till later to do it, and I've got an entry to put in for [livejournal.com profile] spnlims for tomorrow. *g*. Yup. I got back in on the second chance round. Yay! I should go do something productive, really, especially since I'm at work, but I just can't be arsed.... (I still owe prompts from last week - they're coming, honest!)

Dude! I keep forgetting to mention this - I should be shot! Winners for Round Three of the Art of Vidding Awards have now been announced, and Round Four is now open for nominations. This round we are including new fandoms that [livejournal.com profile] thedothatgirl and I are both involved with/aware of, so the complete list of accepted fandoms is:
Bones,  Dark Angel, Deadwood,  Dr. Who, Due South,  House,  Lost, Sopranos,  Supernatural,  Torchwood,  Tru Calling, Veronica Mars, Whedonverse (including Serenity), Wonderfalls and more will be added later.

Go, submit! Watch! Fangirl the winners! (is not stalking [livejournal.com profile] ringwench and [livejournal.com profile] wolfpup2000's ljs... honest!)

Yes, I am making the most of the high speed access to t'internet right now. Yay! Maybe my therapist was right, maybe it is an addiction. *sigh*

Anyways, the big news, I've cancelled my account with Orange broadband, they're sending me a MAC code to authorise a new supplier to sign me up, and once I get that I'm getting a new account with 'virtually no downtime' and for half the price. Apparently.

So I may be back online at home by the weekend - yay!

okay, only one more post from me today and that'll be the site announcement tonight. I promise.

It's only been a day and already I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I miss my broadband like crazy! it's not just the cost of dial up that's on my mind, it's the...really...really...really...really...slow...page...loads....

Gah! But I'm at work, despite feeling like I'm about to throw up at any moment (not helped by annoying cleaner wielding the evil smelling cleaning fluids around the place like we're a HazMat facility...), and the internet is back! Yay!

Another site launch today, working on the admin part of it and it'll probably be tonight before I officially launch it, but I'll be interested to see the reaction to this one. (It's a new one today.)

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, while my mind's in the upswing part of its cycle and I'm feeling creative, I shouldn't be allowed to listen to music I've not heard for a long time. Especially not after watching an episode of a show I'm intrigued enough by to vid. Yeah... One of these days I'll actually finish a vid and share it online! I am going to finish the SPN one I'm working on before I even check to see if I have that track on mp3 or CD because otherwise I'll never get anything done! And that's not even taking into account the ficathon fic I have due on the 10th and which I've not really touched for a week.

Joy. I should open my work email now and see if anyone's touched the shared inbox since I left last Thursday... I seriously doubt it somehow!

Okay, I've been in the office for just under an hour now and I am now realising I really shouldn't be here. I am not well enough to do any of the million and one things that need to be done, and yet I can't go home so I guess I'm going to be seeing how long I can get away with having my head on my desk while it feels like it's about to explode.
