I failed miserably on writing anything for thebigbangjob, sorry guys! Still love the story concept and will work on it, but I dunno when it'll appear.

But... I did sign up for round two of jossverse_bb, this time as a writer. There's a lower word count demand there and, so long as the primary focus is Jossverse, crossovers are good. My immediate thought is to go with Lindsey/Faith with a couple of possible crossover characters but I'm open to all and any suggestions!

I'm in the library again, and about to leave because there's a damn percussion class going on. Seriously, in the library?!! I have my headphones on, my rock mix, last track was Enter Sandman, this one's Back In Black , volume cranked till it hurts, and still I can barely hear it.

Got no problem with a percussion class, sounds like fun, but there's a community centre at the end of the block and a town hall just down the street. Either of them has to be better than a damn library doesn't it?!!!

Oh, and thank goodness for Ben Edlund. Three eps into season six and finally an episode I didn't walk away from.

Hey... have I just gone deaf or have they actually stopped the class?!

(tiny tip, when listening to rock music, don't try to play tennis on Wii Sports at the same time - it'll mess with your stroke and make you lose your pro status. Or at least it will if you're me. Hee!)

Oh! Almost forgot - well, actually I did forget, this is an edited addition... - I'm having trouble with the admin panel at I Need A Parrot. There are something like 52 chapters to be validated and added to the archive, but when I try to get into them the library system blocks them with the message 'North Ayrshire Libraries has classified this page as containing pornography or violence'. Sounds like a good story, but I can't see it until I get my internet connection sorted at home. It'll be done as soon as I physically can. Sorry for the hold up!

There were two artists for this fic and luckily for me sinful_teddy has posted her artwork as well! here it is - beautiful work honey!

Now all we're waiting for is the fic! And man I'm getting into this in such a big way! I'm so signing up for more Big Bangs - and maybe even as an author! (teh Jossverse Big Bang was accepting previously unfinished stories so long as they were completed and man I really want to finish What a Difference a Day Makes... and Crimson Regret... and Final Straw... and pretty much every other story I've ever started and not actually finished! (and hey - crossover-wise? the 'run from the darkness' playlist has been making reappearances on my mp3 player (or was, before Chris's E.P. came out!)

Also - so much love for hopeless_cynic who is focused on uni work right now but still took time out to tolerate me yesterday evening when it became clear my phone wasn't letting me connect to Twitter or to my emails or anything. I really, really, really need to get broadband sorted for the flat!!

I'm going to the gig.

Even if I end up on my own (I was going to say 'in a corner on my own' but I fully intend to be front and centre of that stage if I can!) I'm going - it's Steve. No matter what else is going on, he's one of my favourite performers and I am going.

There probably won't be any kind of confrontation because I'm in a better place these days and am more aware of how not to see everything as a personal attack. Doesn't mean it always works, but the whole counting to ten thing does have its uses!

Completely different topic now, I signed up for the Jossverse Big Bang project as an artist. I claimed a fic, not the one I originally wanted because that one didn't actually show up on the claims list (I'm guessing it didn't work out or didn't get finished in time) but am pretty happy with the fic I'm working with. Thing is, there were more artists than writers in the end so there are two artists on some of the fics, including the one I'm doing. I don't have a problem with it, but it's definitely going to make things interesting! The other artist working on the same fic as me has been in touch and I think we'll be good - there doesn't seem to be any stepping on each other's toes at the moment and we have very different styles so it should be fun to see the results!

My main problem is that I don't actually have a desk right now. My PC is sitting on a coffee table in the spare room right now, and sitting on the floor working at it gets old real quick. The village has a second hand furniture sale every Saturday to raise money for the Community Initiative, so I'm going to take a look there and see if I can get something there tomorrow, but getting it to the flat might be an issue...

So I've signed up as an artist for the Jossverse Big Bang. All of Joss's shows are represented in there and although I have my preferences, I'm happy to make art for most pairings. (Except for Spuffy - I'm sorry, I just can't get on board with it even slightly).
