huh.  
I'm not a breakfast eater. I get up far too early in the morning to eat anything at that time and food hasn't been sitting all that well with me for weeks now anyway so it's no big loss.

So why is it that this morning I decided I wanted to eat something, had a bowl of Special K left over from my failed "drop a jean size in a fortnight" attempt and am now absolutely starving?!! It's been like two hours since I ate and I'm ravenous already!

Strange.

Right, anyway, the crossbow is now complete much to the amusement of half the people in the office - hey, I didn't have any packing tape or anything to hold it together so I'm abusing office supplies... The problem is I now have a model crossbow sitting behind my desk. Maybe it'll discourage people from asking inane questions?!

I'm sure it would discourage me. If it doesn't you could always "accidently" point it at people, and that might work.

I'd have to hide the fact there's no bolts in it though - or maybe I could fire pens at people?!

That would frighten me, because not only are there flying wooden bolts of death, theres the chance of lead poisoning. (Even though theres not real lead in pencils anymore a large portion of the world doesn't realize it)

My boss has actually just dragged my previously good mood down to just about zero... I don't think she's seen the crossbow yet, maybe I should prop it up next to the computer...

Prop it up against the computer. Have it mysteriously be pointing towards her desk. Better yet you should stab a pencil into something near her desk, and then have it laying about on your desk, so it looks like you have really bad aim.

You don't eat breakfast? That's just plain wrong! As Buffy rightly pointed out: "breakfast is the most important meal of the day.....It's unbelievably important. You should eat breakfast at least three times a day."

p.s, Woo-hoo for the crossbow and stake! You're right, you rock!:) (Probably best not to give me the crossbow before I've had breakie though *weg*)

Ben gets that as well.... Without breakfast he can go 'til about one with no food, with breakfast he's hungry again aroune 10.30.. maybe the food wakes up the stomach which then proceeds to be annoying all day.

You do realise we want photos of these weapons... we want to see y'all having a good time.

That's probably a good reasoning behind it actually - so I won't be eating breakfast again then since it only makes me eat more!

There will be photos, assuming there's anyone sober enough to operate a camera that is!

Ahah, but breakie kick starts your metabolism so it actually makes you more effective at burning up the calories.

I seem to have problems operating cameras even when sober, so don't count on me for decent pics!
