*hugs* and fic  
I'm... not having the best time of it right now so I'm hibernating from talking about RL until I get some things sorted out. *hugs all my flist who contacted me in one way or another* Including [livejournal.com profile] kitty_cat89 who gave me a virtual hug across the gap between platforms at the underground station last night. I owe comments and emails and texts and other means of communication - I will reply as soon as I'm able.

do not go gentle... is the reason I'm making this fly-by post. SPN fic written as a coda to 3.06. it's my take on Bela's secret. I'm probably more happy with this fic than I am with anything else I've written lately. As with all my fic, it's posted over at [livejournal.com profile] fandomsbitca - huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie for the really speedy beta and also thanks to [livejournal.com profile] monkey_matt for verifying the title for me! (It's from a Dylan Thomas poem "Do not go gentle into that good night [snip] Rage, rage against the dying of the light")

ETA good grief this is painful! Techy-illiterate person is training new bloke in department. Her: "Um... go to the Start button... along the bottom there... and go into the Q drive... it's... um... under 'standard software' I think... Windows Explorer... um... there it is..." Him: *rolls eyes* Me: Tries not to LOL.

and another edit Just got a text message from my sister. So as well as having Evil!Sam telling me his daddy shot my daddy in the head from the depths of my backpack in the middle of the library, I also had her to deal with. The message? "Any idea what you want for Xmas?". My reply? Well... nothing. I'm not talking to her. What I want from her for Christmas? The money she owes me, my rolling pin back, my spare key back... *grins*

OH! another edit - I would say it's the last but... Could anyone make me a soundclip from 3.06? the bit where Dean says "Don't objectify me!" - I really need a new ringtone and that one? would rock!

Too many supervisors in this place... She's allegedly in charge of one aspect of what the junior staff do so she's training him in that part of it. (It's extra funny for me because she and I did a job swap about four or five years ago now... so I used to do what she's doing... *grins*)

In that case can we talk about cheese please? Or, more accurately cheese on toast. Tomato or not tomato, pepper?, and other such debates are important.

Also, I'm slightly confused as to how you and Karyn were on separate platforms, but I'm sure there's some form of explanation that'll make the usual amount of sense.

It's a fantastic fic. You win. Also? You owe me no comments *pokes with stick*. D's posted though and comments make him feel important (I'm not sure if this is a good thing, but I figure we can try it as a controlled experiment. Eventually he'll return comments and comment to other people, too. Then the sky will fall in).

Oh dear. Try demonstrating the Win-E combination, I've seen that make people's heads explode ;)

EDT 2nd: also, D just sent me a text starting "My Daddy met your Daddy in the pub". Which is true, but less scary and more inducing of snorting in the office.

Cheese on toast - definitely no tomato! That's ev0l! Black pepper if you haven't got any Worscester Sauce though, there's nothing quite like rotted fish guts to liven up some cheese on toast!

I quite like the slightly soggy bit underneath where the tomato was... the tomato itself is incandecent ev0l, I'll grant you that. I should probably buy some Worscester Sauce hrm... .I HAVE bought beef stock cubes for m'mince. I'm highly suggestible, apparently.

I may have to edit all my unresponded-to comments for ever. It's a lot more fun than it ought to be.

I dunno, it would have all that nastiness from the tomato on it (not that I dislike tomatoes, just the yuchiness when they're cooked or heated up in any way other than as part of a sauce). Yay for stock cubes, I may have to try the veggie ones next time I have mince, just to keep the world in balance.

I wondered why she was on the other platform, she said she was going home and I pointed and said "that way?" ensuring everyone thought I was certifiable, and she nodded and grinned. She is evil obviously. *nods*

damn right I do. Ever had a cheeseburger with Swiss cheese and grilled mushrooms? Maybe a little bit of bacon on there too? The *best* type of burger out there. I'm thinking Dean would agree. *nods*

(I just counted out the cash to make sure I had it right, the notes are purple. It's been a while since I saw purple notes...)

(It's a little odd that what I wrote has absolutely nothing to do with the situation in New Orleans and is instead about the average life of a student at Stanford...)

Works for me - I've no plans that I know of on Thursday (I THINK I'm going to the pictures tomorrow, and Friday I can do but there might be episode relateness going on in my head, too :)). I kinda need to work until half five at least, but I can stand you a coffee in costa in the station (it's open until 8?). I like costa coffee.

Sounds like an excellent plan :D. I've got the paprikay chickeny thing I invented in the slow cooker, but I think I might need to add barley or something to it or it'll be more like soup :).

Dean likes meat. Mushooms = // = meat. I maintain the only way he'd eat them is if it was (a)some kind of deviant sex game or (b)to save Sammy from the evil slugs.

That's cool, I wasn't sure what you wanted, I know phones are MP3s, but if you want to use it on the PC as well then you usually need the wav, hence both :D
