Disconnected

days of fake smiles and lies
inside the child weeps
someone knows, someone cares
childish hopes turn to fear
older now, the truth comes out
no one knows
no one cares
eternities spin, collide. Never converge
chills the bones, freezes the blood
tonight, the promise of peace
ending the lie
dawn comes with fake lies and smiles

it's another one of the emo poems that isn't a reflection of anything. It just... came.

Although the disconnected thing that was the root kinda was when I started writing. :)

Very-well written. I like this a lot. I know it's not really a Jossverse poem but do you mind if I include it on the Herald? It reminds me of virtually every female character in the 'verse.
