Things that win

1 - I finally have it in writing that my landlord has committed to 'carry out appropriate repairs in a reasonable time' with regards fixing my (still) leaking roof.

2 - Spoke to the boss of the letting agency and he's negotiated a £75 reduction of my rent until this is all fixed.

3 - I went to my ATOS appeal yesterday.

4 - I... WON MY ATOS APPEAL YESTERDAY.

5 - I don't have to be reassessed by ATOS for another two years.

6 - I get a badfalcon next week.

7 - I get to go Nessie hunting with Cassie (and possibly Raintown) next week!

So basically? Things are looking pretty good today.

Of course the perfect flat fell through, and the only thing on the market right now in my price range is the one with the dealer up the stairs (he's not the problem, his customers are...) so I'm stuck in the hellhole for a little longer, but it can only be a matter of time, right?

Oh the whole ATOS system sucks like a brand new vacuum cleaner! This is my third attempt at getting through the appeals system (you know what I'm like, it's taken me this long to get myself into the mindset where I could actually go to it)

Gotta say, the CAB special advisory service are fantastic. They're not allowed to actually answer the questions for me during the appeal but they told the doctor and lawyer which sections I was appealing on and that meant I wasn't rambling about every single thing and contradicting myself inadvertently.
