Things that win  
1 - I finally have it in writing that my landlord has committed to 'carry out appropriate repairs in a reasonable time' with regards fixing my (still) leaking roof.

2 - Spoke to the boss of the letting agency and he's negotiated a £75 reduction of my rent until this is all fixed.

3 - I went to my ATOS appeal yesterday.

4 - I... WON MY ATOS APPEAL YESTERDAY.

5 - I don't have to be reassessed by ATOS for another two years.

6 - I get a [livejournal.com profile] badfalcon next week.

7 - I get to go Nessie hunting with Cassie (and possibly Raintown) next week!

So basically? Things are looking pretty good today.

Of course the perfect flat fell through, and the only thing on the market right now in my price range is the one with the dealer up the stairs (he's not the problem, his customers are...) so I'm stuck in the hellhole for a little longer, but it can only be a matter of time, right?

y'never know, I might even get myself to a state where I can contemplate that vid collaboration... (The Who original I think, 'cos although I love the covers, there's something about Daltry's voice that fits Clint's angst better)

Of course, I don't actually *have* The Who's version, but I can find it somewhere I guess!

That would be good - I'm kind of flailing a little with vids - either I don't feel particularly motivated or the good idea needs me to look through 15 seasons worth of episodes :(
