Right, so I have no phone line at home, no internet access at home and limited downloads in the library. (It doesn't like zip files or AVIs for some reason - I think it thinks there's something malicious buried inside the compression or something...) Plus, my sister's getting to the stage where she doesn't want me downloading anything any more (she got two viruses on her computer and went over her download limit last month).

So although new seasons of shows have started (mostly) I haven't seen anything yet. At all. And I'm a spoilerphobe which means I really don't want to know what's going on until I can see the shows myself.

All of that means that I haven't been looking at my flist even when I can get online because even if there's no talk of the episodes themselves, I know there will be icons and the like out there.

So... amnesty time. Each and every single one of you is important to me, but right now I feel disconnected from you because I don't really know what's going on in your lives. So here's your out - if you want to take this opportunity to take me off your flist then please, don't feel bad about it at all. I will not be in the least bit offended. If you want to follow my fandom stuff (icons, wallpapers, graphics etc) when I manage to get round to posting anything, then you can watch or join my comm fandomsbitca and it'll all be up there. Or keep an eye on my site which will be being updated really soon.

I'm a member and newshound at spnfencentral which is a Supernatural based comm dedicated to remaining spoiler free. There are 354 members and 419 watchers there who are trying their damndest not to be spoiled. If you think that's a "stupid" goal? Why are you there?

I consider casting news and episode titles as spoilers. This time last year if I'd known Bobby, Ellen, Jo and Ash (etc) were slated to become recurring/semi-regular characters I'd have been annoyed.

I'm therefore annoyed this morning because despite my post less than two days ago, I've been spoiled.

So here's my policy - if you post something spoilery out of a cut, you go off my default view. I don't want to defriend you because I love my flist, but I will not be spoiled. If you think you're off my default list and post something you want me to see, post a comment or link in whatever my most recent post is.

As a media graduate it's hard enough to find a show I can enjoy without tearing it to shreds on a technical level and when I do manage to find that, I really don't want the suspense and the anticipation ruined by knowing what's coming.

For the entire second half of season two I had my friends list on here filtered right down to not include communities so that I could get to the finale without knowing anything. I had hoped that I could go back to my full flist now it's the summer but alas it seems that I may have to cut some communities completely because the spoilers are already starting.

So, a public service announcement. If you are an individual on my friends list who is likely to post spoilers, please comment here. If you would rather stay on my friends list please think about posting anything spoilery behind a cut so that those of us (like me) who don't want to know, don't stumble across it without warning.
