bored. bored. bored. bored. so bored right now...

Took flexi time last night so I should really stay till 5 tonight but it's a glorious day out there and I don't want to be here. (Do I ever?) I'm in an odd mood today, people are annoying me a lot now so I'm keeping out of people's way as much as possible. So why do they insist on talking to me and distracting me all the time? Grrr. I have headphones on for a reason you know.

I should do something productive with my time shouldn't I? I think I need someone to stand over me and tell me to stop slacking off. Effects... needs redesigned, the site I'm setting up for a band needs some content on there desperately, my fics need to be written, the icons need to be finished, ever get the feeling I have too many things on the go at once and that's part of the reason nothing seems to get done?

and since I'm so bored...

And how sad is it that I have never heard ANY of these songs? I am so stuck in the 80's that's truly catastrophic!

Heh! I'm not surprised about Deacon Blue or Gun - they're Scottish bands who have never really made it big elsewehere (in fact, Gun weren't even as successful as they should have been in Scotland)

And please, I'm a child of the 80s who's finding herself more and more out of touch with chart music these days!

Glad my lack of knowledge doesn't offend you! And hey, there is a Scottish band on my list of all time faves...Altered Images! I also like one or two songs by Bis. I hope I get a chance to hear Deacon Blue and Gun someday!

Tiny bit before my time but I do remember seeing them perform "Happy Birthday" on Top of the Pops on one of the rare times I watched that programme!

The song I like best is one that was barely available over here, but that I was lucky enough to tape off of a radio program, the song was called "See Those Eyes."

He'd probably be number six to be honest, he's one of those actors who gets so into the characters (when it's well-written, as in Trainspotting, Shallow Grave, Young Adam and the like) that I can actually forget it's him. Does that make sense?
