random rant  
If you know me personally, and come into contact with me on a semi-regular basis, you'll already know I get a little posessive about odd things. Just a heads up for future reference.

Don't touch my pens!!!

I use specific pens for writing and had one in with me today. Now I have a lid with no pen attached 'cause some jerk has walked with it. Well, it's the kind of ink that dries up if you don't keep the lid on so tomorrow it'll be useless but still. Don't touch my pens! Yes, I know it's a really nice writer, that's why I use it, yes I know it's so much better than a Bic ballpoint - again, that's why I use it...

Grrr

'kay, I should chill now, I don't get this upset about other office stationary by the way - stapler? All yours. Hole punch - use away! Pens? My pens? Hands off!

I'm not really that pissed off by the way, it's just a pen, still, it is irritating!

As if we needed more proof that we brain-share.

My pens are just that: MY pens. I use a specific kind of pen, one that's rather hard to find around here (especially in blue ink, extra fine point), and I get very possessive about them. 'Cause they're mine.

Heh! We are indeed the same person! I'm feeling a little better - I've eaten today and been able to keep it down so that's definitely a bonus! Plus - I'm just about to go watch some Japanese animation so I'm in a pretty good mood right now. Whether that'll last... *g*

I'm all right. Am currently trying to convince myself that, even though they're really good, I should only eat one granola bar. And, I'm trying not to freeze . . . it's cold outside today.

lol. I'm like that too. I seem to only ever have one blue pen at a time. And I like writing in blue at work. I'm very possessive of it. If someone walks off with my blue pen, I will track them down to get it back because it's my only one.

I prefere writing in black for some reason - but I'm the same, even if it's not my own pen if someone walks off with all the black pens from my desk I'll hunt them down for it!

Hee. There's a character called Pauline, who's a job-centre careers advisor type person, who is (amongst many other foibles) particularly obsessive about her pens. But don't worry, you're not like her in any other way! *g*

I did see a couple of episodes of it the other week actually on UK Gold, but I don't remember a Pauline in it. Hmmm. Might have to add it to my ScreenSelect list if it's on DVD....

...Thats how my husband explains the ginormous bundle of writing implements he always carries with him, and God help anyone who loses his favorite fine-tip black marker.

Heh! It's good to know there are others out there who share my obsessiveness about pens! (the girl who sits at the next desk to me is finding it very funny that I searched for it again this morning when I came in!)
