red on black? Seriously? I know it's the hallowe'en thing but that and the fact that it's taken me an hour to actually get to log in? Not good.

Busy still, had big site related plans for today but the contrariness of LJ and my forgetting to load one of the important files onto my pen drive has kinda put paid to that. So I'll be back tomorrow with news, the library's open all day on a Tuesday (instead of just the afternoon today) and I'll have time to breathe. So... this is a distinctly pointless post then!

Oh! Not really. I have a favour to ask fic fans: Supernatural fic fans and Xander fic fans who have some time on their hands in December... could you drop me a line? *is cryptic*

Not loving the new layout LJ...

Um... when did this happen? I'm in the local library and - shock horror - I can actually open pages on my LJ. My own journal, my flist, my messages page. I'm confused.

I've given up trying to access anything on my sister's computer - mostly because whenever I'm there nothing opens and I spend all day with four children who have the attention span of goldfish.

So... I'm kinda back? Kinda? Only when I can get to the library though which isn't as often as I'd like, but on the other hand it does get me out of the house and interacting with people.

( rambling stream of consciousness feeling sorry for myself nonsense - ignore it, really, it's nonsense )

Basically what I'm here to say is that I will have some time to spend online now, I can't download anything, certian sites are still restricted, but I will be around a little more.

Some of you will have noticed over the weekend that I had a little money in my phone and could actually answer texts - I now have 12pence. Which means I can't text anyone any more. *sigh*

Right, I've been composing this for about twenty minutes now and it's gotten really rambling so I'm going to look for a job now. (Before I throttle the very loud people currently hanging pictures for some local art exhibition right behind me.)

Um... when did this happen? I'm in the local library and - shock horror - I can actually open pages on my LJ. My own journal, my flist, my messages page. I'm confused.

I've given up trying to access anything on my sister's computer - mostly because whenever I'm there nothing opens and I spend all day with four children who have the attention span of goldfish.

So... I'm kinda back? Kinda? Only when I can get to the library though which isn't as often as I'd like, but on the other hand it does get me out of the house and interacting with people.

couple of things before I go...

I posted my first ever fanmix over at

fandomsbitca - it's an SPN/BtVS crossover mix, featuring tracks relating to Dean, Faith, Sam and to a lesser extent John and the extended post-Chosen/NFA Buffyverse characters. Since I've never posted a fanmix before I'm a tad nervous and have no clue where to cross post - feedback and suggestions gratefully received.

The One has had a hiccup and all the membership details seem to have been wiped. I'm working on it and will have it fixed in the next day I hope.

and to the people who insist on being petty and pathetic, you might want to check your facts first. (I do not want to start more wank, this is not about Jared.)

I will be offline for a while now I'm afraid, I'll try to check in when I can.

I have the worst headache in the history of headaches. Or at least in the history of my headaches. Or at least in the history of my headaches since I stopped getting migraines. Or at least in the history of my headaches since I stopped getting migraines and didn't try to go cold turkey on caffeine withdrawal. Or at least...

Okay, so I have a headache. It's bad. And not being helped by the boredom factor right now.

I have so many things I want to write and create at the moment but none of them are playing along which is making me really quite sad and distressed. So instead of the plethora of things I owe (including two ficathon type things), I drabbled about Lindsey. And now I have tea and am trying to ignore the fabulous sounding biscuits I bought on request from

wenchpixie - there were only two boxes in the shop. I can't replace them if I eat them, no matter how good they sound...

(Also? I've been looking for a decent biker icon for a while now. How tempted am I by the Friday 13th photo of Jared? Hmmm, lemme see...)

Stuff and things

Handbag resistant wrapper? Because handbags are known for their habit of attacking wrappers... Seriously I hate being a girl sometimes.

Anyway...

I was busy last night - icons and... that vid. (Which isn't the one I was talking about yesterday by the way - that one's seriouser and not inclined to make you all want to kill me.) All SPN related, the icons are from Wendigo and the vid contains clips up to mid-season three (because I forget which was the last episode we used for it).

Day 2 of sole supervisorship. The mutiny is not going well, I seem to have developed a work ethic in the past couple of days. Think I can get treatment for that? One of the plebs has called in sick as well. So yeah... I'm thinking we shut the department - other departments in this place do that when they're short staffed, I don't see why we can't. *g*

Right - Springer list completed, Ovid list staring me in the face and Synergy list to be updated. Then? I can do whatever I want! Yay! (Until I discover some site's gone down and have to try to pick up the pieces...)

I have pink hair.

I'm exceptionally bored in the evenings without internet access, and it's apparently leading me to do strange things.

I don't have any nails to speak of right now, so I couldn't paint them purple or black. Instead, I found some pink hair colour spray...

Yeah... and I'm wearing a red t-shirt today.

Nice.

(it's not my whole head of hair, it's a streak, but it's very pink...)

New boys last night - not seen the episode yet, don't think I'll get to see it until tonight because I have some stuff to do over lunch today, which means I won't get to share squee until Monday. *pouts* Also means I've not read my flist yet - and won't until I see the episode and am online so... Monday for that too! I know about Sterling being announced for Asylum - yay! - but if there's anything else (non-spoilery!) you want me to see before then, please link me!

I have pink hair.

I'm exceptionally bored in the evenings without internet access, and it's apparently leading me to do strange things.

I don't have any nails to speak of right now, so I couldn't paint them purple or black. Instead, I found some pink hair colour spray...

yes, okay, I'll write it...

Like it's such a hardship? Replying to the comments on the fic post put a bunny idea in my head for a sequel, I'm going over to

wenchpixie's house to transform myself into a 1950's botanist who really wants to try the purple berries (since she had so much fun burning the leaves of the other plant last time...) and will brain-storm an idea with her. Becuase Wench? You're totally getting pulled into this one...

It may or may not write as quickly as the original, we'll see...

I was being exceptionally random last night and painted my fingernails. I don't have long nails, what with the guitar playing it's not really possible, but right now they're purple. Yeah... I don't know why either. (Plus there's a chip on one of them already, Rimmel sucks!) Unless! Yay! it's purple because Katherine really wants the purple berries! But whatever the reason, I'm on a libray visit to the BL tomorrow, I won't be going home in the interim, I'm the supervisor going to this thing. With purple nails.

Yeah...

Also? Having way too much fun with the new build computers here - they have Movie Maker on 'em? And IT haven't disabled the games yet... when I get really bored I could make a vid and/or play Free Cell! *opens up Free Cell and hits F2* What? It's not like there's any work for me to do...

I apologise for being spammy btw, I'd love to say I'm not normally like this? But that would be a lie.
