Random squee and concern...
My Horoscope is starting to scare me: It's very sweet of you to work so hard for others. Awfully nice to take on so much on their behalf. Because they'll all be so wonderfully grateful. Not. Don't be so gullible, Capricorn - 'no' is not a dirty word. (from the Metro again)

So um... do any of you guys write the horoscopes for the Metro? Because they know me. They must do...

Made some icons last night - am kinda blown away with the response at the moment, although mostly it's the Jensen factor I'm sure!

Didn't manage to fix INAP yet, will try to fix it Sunday but...

Tonight's the Scottish Fen Posse Party! I can't actually believe it's come around so quickly! Yay! Can't *wait* to see you guys! (Damn, I just remembered I forgot to pick up my digital camera this morning - crap!)

And I had my MP3 player on this morning when I was first in the office, I was going to get water for the kettle and 'Come Around More Alabama' came on as I was walking through an empty office with a 2 litre bottle of water in my hand and I literally bounced on my toes and grinned like a lunatic. It struck me just at that particular moment that I'M GOING TO BE SEEING HIM IN THE FLESH ON MONDAY!!!!!!

*grins*

(I'm feeling better now, can you tell?)

Oh, and dude... I didn't realise how used to power steering I was until mine cut out on me last night. I drive a 1.4 litre Ford Fiesta, it's not a big car, but man... it's *heavy*! So parking at [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie's place is going to be fun tonight - on street parking in a strange place with no power steering... yeah...

ETA OH!! [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie and [livejournal.com profile] amy_star_ - thank you both soooo much! I got your beta comments on the fic and will be fixing it up and posting it soon! *hugs*

To quote Dean: "Hell, Yeah!"

*grins*

Actually, I'm thinking the talk will be mostly "STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" with a few pauses for people to catch their breath but...

And you still haven't finished it yet? *rolls eyes*

I've watched all of season 2 though and episode one twice :)

ROFLOL!!!

Okay, that's the oddest way of watching the show I've ever heard of... but hey, if it works for you then... *grins*
What time are you getting into London at? Where are we meeting? I NEED DETAILS!!!
[identity profile] acrazywench.livejournal.com on July 20th, 2007 11:26 am (UTC)
I have no idea when I'm getting into London! I've just filled in my holiday card, so that's a start :)

Ok, I've looked at National Rail and the route that's best either gives me the option of getting into London Kings Cross at lunchtime (12.30) or early tea-time (4.46 or 5.04). (I'll try the lunchtime approach.) (Of course this is all subject to favourable weather conditions, if there's lots of raining and flooding I might not get there at all!) What time are you getting into London?

We can meet anywhere you like, hun:) Are we dropping stuff off before going to see the lovely man? And if so, where would we be dropping it? (I may try and pop in on a friend and her new baby on Monday or Tuesday, but I'm thinking Tuesday might be best so that it doesn't get too confusing.)

Is where we're staying near Putney? Should I bring any food/drink etc. in addition to a sleeping bag?
[identity profile] whiskyinmind.livejournal.com on July 20th, 2007 11:45 am (UTC)
Absolutely no clue at all.

*g*

this is why I need details... I dunno where Cat stays but I don't think it's all that close to Putney to be honest. I'm getting in at 6:30 in the am so any time you can get into London works for meeting up!

The lovely mate with baby is pretty close to Putney so that was prompting my combining thoughts for Monday, but I could always pop back out that way on Tuesday if Monday's going to be all busy. I am thinking I'll keep a wary eye on the weather and not buy my train ticket until Monday though since today one tube line is closed and another is severly disrupted because of flooding. Victoria has also been flooded.

It's odd to think of the weather being that bad down there, we're still doing pretty well weatherwise right now.

You're still coming though, aren't you?
[identity profile] acrazywench.livejournal.com on July 20th, 2007 03:18 pm (UTC)
Oh yeah, the only reason I'm not buying my train ticket until Monday is to be on the safe side, if the trains get cancelled etc. I only lose the Steve ticket price as opposed to the Steve ticket price plus £60 train fare!

Good.

I'll be most upset if you're not there.

(is the weather really that terrible? I haven't really been watching the news or anything...)

Well the wet stuff hit us this afternoon - it feels like a very grey, wet November day and cold to boot - and I think it's going to be wet tomorrow. (Quite ironic as this weekend is the town's water festival!*g*) Down South in Croydon and places like that it sounds as though they've had about two months' rain in a day. (There are some piccies on the beeb's website.)
