Okay, so there's a lot of building work going on in the floor above my office in the library. They seem to be dropping a lot of very heavy things directly above my head so...

wenchpixie, acrazywench and thedothatgirl get first dibs on my DVDs so long as they promise to give hopeless_cynic one of my copies of Firefly and Serenity, smileawhile gets first dibs on my CDs and everyone else can fight over the rest of my belongings... The sites are hosted for the next 18 months, this LJ's a permanent account so... (Ooo - emorpheus can take the Sandman books he doesn't have yet and any of the Star Wars graphic novels and books he wants, the technical books and the encyclopaedia are for my nephew though!)

(work sucks, but I refuse to let it get to me the way it has in the past couple of days. It's a job, it's not who I am. Those of you who have me friended on Facebook - my 'what I'm doing' is a tad melodramatic.)

So monkey_matt is currently watching SPN at ITV2 rate, which means he's just seen Kids Are Alright. Mrs Monkey will throttle him (and probably come after me next) if he gets spoiled for what's coming up on the show. But he and I were having an email discussion about it and I said:

( Cut because I know of at least one person amongst you who has not yet seen all of s2... I'm nice like that! )

To which he replied with this dialogue ficlet (tiny bit of beta from me at the end):

Oh! Also - my mobile phone currently has around 40p in it and I'm budgeting incredibly tightly this month so I probably won't be topping it up any time soon. I can still get your texts and calls, but I can't really make any of my own right now. *hugs*

for the second day in a row I got to work after nine and am just about asleep at my desk. I am being propped up by caffeine and the thought that at least it's the weekend tomorrow... (even though I have a zillion projects to finish tomorrow, the Sweet Charity layouts, the banners for the winners at spn_provenance, the fics for fic_variations and 100songs, the new site to work on, my hedge to cut because it's blocking my TV signal... *g*)

Continued Asylum reports will be coming soon, probably not today unless my brain kicks into gear within the next hour or so, and I'm not reading my flist until I've seen the second part of AHBL, so if anything important needs answered/looked at/squeed over in the next twelve hours - link me?
